What is Mild-Hybrid?
A mild hybrid system in a Volvo, or any other vehicle, is a type of hybrid powertrain that combines a traditional internal combustion engine (ICE) with an electric motor. However, unlike full hybrids or plug-in hybrids, the electric motor in a mild hybrid is not capable of propelling the vehicle on its own. Instead, it works in tandem with the ICE to enhance efficiency and performance.
